Please contact the office on 07873 687 280 for further assistance.

Are intensive courses better than hourly lessons?
We believe that it is a much better way of passing your driving test. Because you do all your lessons in one week, you are less likely to forget what you are being taught. With hourly lessons, for the first 20 minutes you are re-capping on what you did the previous week. With our intensive courses you don’t waste that 20 minutes out of each hour, thus saving you time and money. Plus, you get your license much quicker and who would complain about that?

Are your instructors fully qualified?
At Road Stage we only use fully qualified instructors, approved by the DSA, so you can be sure you are getting the best training possible.

Where will I be picked up from?
You will be picked up from your home address, however if you need to be picked up from an alternative address e.g. work or college etc, this can be arranged.

How much does the practical test cost?
The practical test costs £56.50 (£67.00 evenings and weekends)

What should I bring?
You must bring a valid signed provisional driving license along with you. If you have the old type license, please bring photographic I.D. with you, i.e. your passport.

How long does the practical test last?
The test should last 40 minutes. This may vary depending on traffic conditions.

Who books the test for me?
We will book your test for you, usually on the final day of the course although, on rare occasions, a test may have to be arranged shortly after the course depending on test availability.

Which course should I choose?
It's difficult to say what course is best for each individual as this depends on your level at the start of the course and the rate at which you learn. However, on the first day of your course, your instructor will advise you on whether you have enough hours booked and if possible, arrange extra hours with you leading up to your test. If you have overbooked, we will refund you for the hours remaining after passing your test.
